Newsreel Anaconda is a 30 minute show about the life of U.S. soldiers in Iraq produced by other soldiers. The first 15 minutes is a light-hearted spoof of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking".
The second half of the show is series of news stories produced by the men and women in uniform.
This edition features stories on Soldiers conducting civil military operation outside Logistical Support Area Anaconda, U.S. Army civil engineers surveying and inspecting the 14th of July bridge in Baghdad, troops conducting safety drills before going out on combat logistic patrols, Soldiers performing life-saving procedures on head and neck injuries, U.S. Army boats playing a significant role in country by carrying vital cargo from shore to shore and a Soldier surviving a blast from an improvised explosive device.
