the rand corporation today published a study linking teen pregnancy and what kind of television teenagers watch. this linking is being reported upon as causal or potentially causal and i'm amazed. would not both better correlate to which teens are interested in sex? or are we forgetting that some are really into the topic and some are not?
granted the study is careful to only say that there's a link, but they really are clever in the language and imply some causality. who funded that study?
