Poet Conney and vocalist Sister Naliah perform at Charles A. Bibbs Gallery in Downtowns Gallery Row.
Conney is a poet who has performed throughout the Los Angeles area and across the u.s. He found my voice at the WORLD STAGE in LEIMERT PARK where he encountered some of the most talented writers/performers he ever met...He has published one book of poetry: "LEAVES OF SPILLED SPIRIT FROM AN UNTAMED POET". He goes on further to say, I love life...and appreciate the beauty and ability to be able to share in it with others...i believe in truth and my life is the pursuit learning daily to be a real person...honest, open....to the possibilities and what can happen in this life if we allow ourselves the opportunity to see beyond our attitudes and prejudices.... "Where the soul is undressed, the spirit laid bare and where honesty and truth are the garments with which the heart is spoken"
