Film events are developed in Soviet Union in 1961 on Baikonur. The picture tells about six weeks from a life of doctor Daniel Pokrovskogo which prepares group of the first cosmonauts for an exit in space, being broken off for fear for these heroic people and love and pity to two women close to it ― the wife and the mistress.
