Many people in the east have access to media now more than ever. That media has allowed much freedom of investigation but it has also resulted in some inaccurate stereotypes. I want to deal with some of those and specifically those surrounding books by Bart Ehrman out of North Carolina in the USA. He has written a book called Orthodox Corruption of Scripture (1997) and a simplified book of the same material called Misquoting Jesus.
