Spiderman is back to where he should be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still not completely OK with the Brand New day and the effects that it had on Spidey’s powers and life, but the book is at least fun and exciting and a Spidey book again. Hammer Head is just scary good and I love what they’ve done with the character. We’ve got another new writer in Joe Kelly, and while his books lack some of the humor that the previous books have had it is still true to the character and an enjoyable read. Looking back on this thrice monthly spidey I’ve had a few thoughts. First off, we’re not really getting more Spidey than we used to, it just happens to be telling the same story.
