In my opinion, anyone worried about Executive Power is about 70 years too late. The Executive Branch, operating through executive agencies like the FDA, EPA, Fish & Wildlife Service, and so on, wield tremendous authority, including the power to make law. Anyone worried about too much government power needs to understand executive agencies.
