The way it used to be. When creativity and true self expression were once celebrated. I was part of this scene back in NYC circa. 1994-1995, I continue my Clubkid persona as "The UNKNOWN". I was known as the first "political' ClubKid. I create art and have exhibited in the Amsterdam, London and Bthe EU. And on occasion in Nyc when a gallery owner feels tolerant and daring enough to allow for something progressive. Nyc has changed a lot and gone are the days of free expression. Its all been replaced with corporations, condos, galleries filled with mediocrity and a profound lack of diversity, tolerance and equality. However, back in the mid 1990's something special was brewing in New York and places like the Limelight, The Tunnel and Webster Hall were the 90's Studio 54, they were exciting places where anything could happen. It was all about DIVERSITY! Now all but a memory. New York used to be truly unique. This clip is a tribute to the way New York City used to be. Want to know more contact me! =) BE SWELL!
