Hundreds of thousands of people have joined demonstrations across
Turkey to protest the recent
Israeli invasion against Gaza.
Political parties and non-governmental organizations held
demonstrations in different provinces to protest the Israeli strikes.
Hundreds of thousands of people attended the demonstrations. They chanted slogans and carried banners condemning
Israel and demanding an immediate halt to Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip.
The protesters in Caglayan Square on the European side of the city shouted 'death to
Israel' and 'we are all
Palestinians'.
Some protesters burnt flags and effigies.
In Istanbul, the Felicity Party held a rally to protest
Israeli action against Palestine. Security forces took tight measures during the rally.
