On December 15. 2007, the Long Island Blues Society gave Sam "Bluzman" Taylor a benefit. This was from where the music started, Vail Leavitt Music Hall, with the reputation of Sam's roots going back to The Blue Bird.
This program ran on local Cable, but as per Sam's request, it was held from Internet uploading, till Sam went to the Blue Bird, above.
