In combination with the national effort of more than 100 cities, Chicago rose their voice to reach out to President-elect Obama to follow through on his promise to repeal DOMA.
At the same time a rally was held at Hyatt Headquaters to leave a personal message about their need to acknowledge the actions of the 2nd largest hotel owner - Doug Manchester - on his donation of $125,000 to ProtectMarriage.com to help get Prop 8 on the ballot in California with his early donation.
