The Radiological Threat Awareness Coalition (R-TAC)Summit took place on February 25th, 2009. The summit brought together highly respected professionals and academics from within the field of homeland security and radiological science to increase awareness of the threat of a "dirty bomb" attack on US soil.
This year's panel discussion featured unique and timely insight from Dr. Carol Marcus (Professor, UCLA), Lawrence Korb (Center for American Progress), James Carafano (The Heritage Foundation), Robert DeMateo (Radiation Shield Technologies), and Alex Heyl (HeylTex Corporation).
