The Chesapeake Bay Bridge connects Maryland's urban western shore with it's rural eastern shore. RT 50 and RT 301 are the major highways allowing travelers to cross the bay to reach Maryland and Delaware's ocean resorts and also to as an alternate route to Interstate 95.
The bridge is 4.3 miles long and at it's height reaches 186 feet above the ocean-going ship channel.
For some it's a white knuckle drive, while for others a service is available to drive them across for $25-$35. Join us for a drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
