It is an 8 mil. thick polyurethane film, engineered to the exact lid dimension â covering the top, the edges, and ýâ down each side. If the lid is already damaged . . there is a special formulation in the adhesive that actually covers or cosmetically âÂÂrepairsâ most minor scuffs and abrasions that are already found on the painted surface of the lid . . making old lids look absolutely new. Whenever the film needs replacement . . for the life of the motorcycle .. we will send new film for only a modest shipping charge.
