Today is day 6 and Lucy and Brian head off into the Ugandan countryside to visit a project that helps young pregnant girls, Waakisa Ministries. They have a tour round the project with the project administrator Damalia and Lucy is shocked to hear that the youngest girl there is 13. There are many reasons for these young pregnancies, ****, incest and shockingly HIV. Waakisa helps young pregnant girls to be rehabilitated back to their families once they have given birth. This project has been really successful in Uganda and Lucy is amazed at what they have managed to achieve which gives her hope for the future.
