April 2009: The new attitude in Hollywood is green! With Americas attention now focused on environmental responsibility and economic viability, some of the entertainment worlds most recognizable stars are showing their support for Earth Day and beyond by opting to drive automobiles which leave no carbon footprints, polluting emissions, or wasteful energy. Gas guzzling limousines were noticeably replaced by Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell Hydrogen SUVs a vehicle that only emits water vapors as seen at the recent Disneys premier of Earth in Los Angeles. The vehicles for the premier are part of Chevys Project Driveway a program wherein celebrities and average citizens alike are test driving fuel cell cars. More than 100 fuel cell vehicles in real-world driving conditions are on the road in such locales New York City, Washington DC, and Southern California. Drivers are providing GM engineers and scientists valuable feedback not unlike a film or concert review to determine the next steps in the development of the truly green vehicles.
