However, 'Tumen River' is not the Chinese name for 'Dumangang River'. Tumen river refers to Tomun river, not Dumangang River. This is intentional mislabeling by the Chinese, is like that of Chinas views about Tibet. This deliberate move is intended to distort Korea's culture and history, and justify Chinas illegal occupation of Gando, which is clearly an act of aggression.
