HISTORY presents ICE ROAD TRUCKER SEASON 3 on May 31 at 9pm/8c. Meet IRT driver GEORGE SPEARS. The Veteran of the Haul Road, George Spears, is a revered trucker in northern Alaskan. He has been driving the Dalton Highway since the early days of its construction. After thirty years, George has seen and heard it all and often teaches new drivers the tricks of the road. This year, he claims that he is retiring, but everyone at Carlile has heard it before. They say they will believe it when they see it, because with no wife or kids Georges life is the Dalton Highway. He knows every curve and corner, but even his wealth of experience hasn't kept even him from crashing into the ditch. George admits that if he doesn't retire that this road will surely kill him.
