Part 1a of a playthrough of Takara's Choro Q2 for the PSX. Part 1 covers the beginning of the game to the Tournament. It's no secret that Choro Q is one of my favourite franchises, this game in particular I've cited as one of the best Playstation games on a number of occasions. Choro Q is basically a combination of Gran Turismo and Micro Machines, or to put that another way, it's a sim-style racer with car customization where you race toy cars. In this iteration of the series, Q-Town is introduced, which is a hub area where you can find shops and other things. I won't be spending too much time there in this video, but it's kind of a neat addition nonetheless. Since this is a sim-style racer and there's money involved, it will be necessary for me to repeat some tracks to build cash. I'm trying to keep this to a minimum, though. Anyway, this is my first time playing this game in about a year, so this won't be absolutely perfect (you can tell that I can't even remember what buttons control the menus at first, Square is Cancel?), but I still get through the tracks in reasonably good time.
