This is one of my favorite healing songs..It has brought me to tears in the past. Once I realized that I had a heavy heart, and Jesus knew I would fall when he died for all of mankind. I used to imagine my sins pushing the nails farther and deeper into the hands of feet of our lord, and pushing the crown of thorns into his head. Then it turns and reminds us of how wonderful and lovely the lord is, and he teaches us to adore and love one another. It was sung to me during one of our ministry retreats with singles for christ. And that is the moment I realized my sins had been hurting my heart, and I just tried to hide it. Jesus is a forgiving god, and he redeems me with talents, treasures and time with family and friends.
