Part 2 of a full playthrough of Atlus' Snowboard Kids for the N64. All races won (eventually) with no save states. Snowboard Kids is a semi-obscure racing game for the N64. It's similar to Mario Kart in a lot of ways, there's plenty of zany weapons and items to contend with, and the game uses at least as much catch-up logic as the recent Mario Karts. Still, this game has a bit of a cult following, it's often recommended by N64 enthusiasts. Making this movie immediately struck me as a bad idea, as this game is fairly heavily dependant on luck, and thus winning all the races might take an obscene amount of tries, even using the Star Board (I didn't opt to use the most powerful character, maybe I should have). I contemplated simply doing each course once, regardless of whether I win or lose, but it turned out to be unnecessary as I got this run in only one attempt. I assume the planets must have aligned, because despite a million close calls, I somehow almost always manage to come out on top. Unfortunately, my luck doesn't hold up forever, and when it gives out, it does so rather spectacularly. But that's just the way this game goes. Snowboard Kids copyright 1997 Atlus.
