Pregnancy discrimination in the state of New York is more common than one would think. People are often shocked to know how many cases I've taken on where a woman has gotten pregnant, informed her employer and been terminated. If the pregnant woman has had a good work history and no poor performance evaluations and then gets pregnant and gets fired, that's discrimination in my opinion and that particular individual should immediately seek the advice of an attorney.
