Limestone County Jail will soon be safer thanks to a 100-thousand dollar grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission. The money will be used for the Limestone County VoIP network. The system will increase communication between several public service agencies and government offices. It will also allow prisoners to be arraigned through a video and document management system, faster and cheaper.
