On August 6th, 2009, Twitter was a victim of a DDOS attack. Site was down. Then it was back up. Then it didn't work for a ton of people. I explain exactly what the attack meant but also why it wasn't as bad as people made it to be.
Sure, it sucked for Twitter and lost them some good publicity. The truth remains however, well, just watch the video.
