Episode guest is Julio Magalhaes, Ph.D., Global Warming Program Coordinator for the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter. Julio’s background as a scientist with NASA is an interesting twist to someone that is now in the environmental/green movement. He started volunteering his time for the Sierra Club and they asked him to become the Executive Director. There are four areas that the Sierra Club focuses on, with Global Warming being one of those areas. He talked to us about all four areas and explains the Cool City program for us.
