I'm taking a few days off for a staycation to organize the house, but in the meantime I wanted to share a few clips with you from a recent speech I did in Las Vegas at a private event for Fiserv. In this particular speech, I talked about future technologies that will change the way we interact with computers and present technologies that can save us time and/or money. The first clip is about Pranav Mistry's project at the MIT Media Lab called QUICKIES. QUICKIES are an electronic version of Stickies that have the ability to intelligently interact with us. TECHNICAL NOTE: Our video copy of the speech has overly compressed audio so we put a music bed to cover up some of the pops and compression artifacts. As a public speaker, I talk about the impact of technology we experience today, amazing research that will become the technology we'll use in the future, the importance of social media, and video production tips and tricks. If you're interested in having me speak at your event, please contact me. ...
