there are no shortages of great indie hip hop blogs. The best, although it focuses more on the culture of hip hop than on exposing the reader to new bands is Ill Doctrine. Admittedly, he can be kind of over earnest and wordy in a public radio sort of way, but when hes on, like when hes talking about Michael Jackson or the phrase No Homo, he is on.
