September 17 2009 Lake County Illinois 6:45am. Wind E 0mph. 55 degrees. Partly Cloudy, Barometer 30.21 Steady, Waning Crescent 2% of the Moon is Illuminated. As I still hunted along a creek, glassing out into the swamp for antlers moving through the Cattails and Reedgrass, the big 10 point Whitetail Buck crossed paths with me, I could see it was the beautiful deer that I now call Buddy. Buddy was not able to confirm it was me because I was not upwind of him, As friendly as Buddy is to me, he didn't want to stick around to long without my scent confirmation.
