On Sunday, October 11, 2009 hundreds of thousands of queer activists and their allies descended on the streets of Washington DC for the National Equality March.
A grassroots group, Join the Impact Chicago, tirelessly organized and sent 4 buses full of 212 midwest activists to Chicago. One of those buses, Bus #1, never made it to DC.
