NEW ORLEANS -- Crewmembers from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans medevac a man after the vessel he was aboard sank in heavy seas, today. The man was one of seven rescued from the Gulf of Mexico after their vessel the, Missinà Link sank 130 miles southeast of Galveston Texas. All seven crewmembers were rescued by the research vessel, Mystic Viking, after being guided by a a U.S. Coast Guard HU-144A Ocean Sentry to a life raft where the remaining six people were aboard.
