Some of the best stuff on THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW never made it on the air. This is particularly true when Tim Conway was on the show--his adlibs and extended improvisations (which had roots in his years as a radio performer) were brilliant but often had little or nothing to do with the sketch at hand.
