ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - A Coast Guard air crew aboard an HC-130J Hercules airplane from Air Station Elizabeth City searches for a missing Air Force F-16 pilot off the South Carolina coast Friday, Oct. 16, 2009. The airplane served as the on-scene coordinator for search efforts, relaying communications from Sector Charleston, S.C., to surface and air assets participating in the search.
