At BBC Television Centre there are 11 celebrities anxiously limbering up before performing either the American smooth or the samba. Unlike in previous years, there doesn't seem to be an obvious winner yet, although the same four or five names do keep cropping up at the top of the judges' scoreboards, while there are a couple of names that are always stumbling around the bottom.
