Ericâs Amazing Race has steered funds toward finding a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) over the past seven years. Organized by the husband and wife team of Ted Lindsay and Heather Johnston and family, the event was named for their nine-year-old nephew Eric Morden who is living with the degenerative disease.
