Celebrities pair up with professionals in the dancing competition hosted by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly. The six remaining couples perform either a romantic ballroom or lively Latin dance in a bid to secure a place in the quarter finals. The two couples with the lowest combined judges' scores and viewer votes face the dreaded dance-off, with one couple hanging up their dancing shoes for good. Whilst they wait for the result, the professional dancers perform a spectacular number.
