The combined forces of Great Britain, Italy and Germany will come together under the team name of E-Stars to go head-to-head with the might of the U.S. at the British Gas Duel in the Pool in Manchester next month. E-Stars comprises 14 British, 14 Italian and eight German swimmers and will take on the worldâs number one swimming nation at the Manchester Aquatic Centre on 18th and 19th December.
There will just be one opportunity for the swimmers to get it right as the programme is made up of straight finals with no heats. British Swimming has had a great year this year, with a best ever medal haul at the World Championships in Rome and will hopefully be ending with some of the greatest swimming talent in the world going head-to-head.
Audio is available of the British Gas Swimming Team World Champion â Liam Tancock, who will be discussing his preparations for the event ahead of the British Gas Duel in the Pool in December. Distributed by Tubemogul.
