Scott Winn, managing director of Zolfo Cooper and Andrew Horrocks and managing director of Moelis & Co. spoke at The Deal Economy 2010 conference. Winn says that debt investors prefer prepackaged bankruptcies because they are afraid of the cost of the bankruptcy process. Horrocks adds that prepacks have grown in popularity because of the risk and economic uncertainty.
