December 1 2009 Lake County Illinois 3:56pm. Wind WSW 8-13mph. 52 degrees. Barometer 29.79 Falling, Full Moon 100% of the Moon is Illuminated. BowHunting Big Whitetails the Second Rut. A small fork horn buck appeared @ 3:55pm to the South of my blind in the slew bed near the tree line his tail was raised and I believe he was on the trail of a doe coming into season. The immature 8 point buck appeared shortly after that less excited but definitely interested in something and disappeared into the tree line................................................................................................................................................
