Not everyone talks to their Senator, but those who do will find that Joe Kennedy is listening to their every word. He will pay attention and act on their advice, anytime that doing so will not violate any individual's rights. For instance, Joe would listen to civil libertarian Harvey Silverglate and fight against the pandemic response act, because it violates individual rights, and ignores the US Constitution. Those with similar opinions and grievances are encourages to talk to Joe. As are people who want expand the government --he can always say "No, the Constitution doesn't authorize me to do that". --Something Scott Brown and Martha Coakley seem unable to fathom.
