A friend gave me this game so I started playing it just a couple weeks ago! I must say it's really FUN! You play as Alex Mercer a scientist working for Gentek who's trying to escape from the military and Gentek company. After some experimentation or virus contamination Alex mutated into something. Now, he wields shapeshifting powers, super strength, super speed, transformation of limbs into weapons, etc. Alex wants to find those responsible for this and annihiliate them all. Alex must go around New York City while fighting the military and solving the mystery of this infection. It seems an infection is spreading fast around the city also and turning everyone into monsters and mutants and zombies! O_O
