Markets are gapping down a bit this morning on a wide variety of news. We will be watching the gap fill (if any) very carefully today at the open to see how the markets are digesting these events.
On a separate note, Haiti was hit with another earthquake of 6.0 magnitude. This was not an aftershock but a separate fairly powerful quake that has apparently brought down many of the remaining unstable structures. We will be thinking of that situation as well as the markets today.
