For years Cache Valley has been ranked the safest metropolitan area in the country. That is great news if you are thinking about relocating here soon, but recently Cache Valley had the worst air quality in the nation. This was due to a 3 week stretch of no snow in late 2009. It lasted only a week, but for a few days our air was horrible. In my opinion, a few days of bad air a year is well worth raising a family in the safest city in U.S.A.
