this is 2D animation testing for Rapunzel
The film will be 2D made in CGI,
though Rapunzel animation will resemble traditional oil paintings on canvas
These are some storyboards I did for my own version of Rapunzel. The song I used is from Thumbelina and seemed to fit perfectly with my own version of the story. The song is also sung by the voice of Ariel which conveniently worked with the other song that I used. This scene takes place near the beginning of the story just after the witch has visited Rapunzel. Rapunzel and her squirrel's character designs are loosely based on the one's from Disney's upcoming film, Rapunzel Unbraided.
