This documentary was created by Jamie Smith and Kent Stewart in partial fulfillment of the M.Ed. in Computer Education and Technology program at Ohio University. The piece is geared toward educators in an attempt to present and explain new media literacies, their importance, and the challenges in addressing them in the public schools. This documentary strives to define new media literacies, demonstrate their relevance to students and educators, examine what is currently being taught and present a call to action for positive change.
