It has been nearly five years since the defeat of Golgom at the hands of Kamen Rider Black. Everything seemed peachy keen for our hero, Minami Kotaro. He took a job as a helicopter pilot for the Sahara family and even got himself a photo journalist girlfriend, Shiratori Reiko. But it wasn't long before evil reared its ugly head again - CRISIS EMPIRE! They're aliens who plotted to conquer Earth. In order to do so, they have to eliminate their main target - Kotaro. Wouldn't you? So they captured him, brought him aboard on the spaceship (Crisis Fort), and offered him to join them. He flatly refuses, so the bad guys jettison him into outer space and opened fire with energy beams! He's been hit, which causes the King Stone in Kotaro's body to split in two.
