What could be more funny than the course of hilarious events in this best-of-the-best comedy short? Just seeing Stan and Ollie in the opening scene in their jalopy with a few shabby Christmas trees and the title Selling Christmas Trees in Southern California is funny enough, but when the boys try to sell a tree to home owner James Finlayson, who will have none of their sales palaver, and their tree gets stuck in his door, a chain of events begins that leads to the total destruction of their jalopy and Finlaysons house.
