Unsure of the exact date of this documentary, but I would say late '70s to early '80s. Narrated by Martin Sheen, it details how the U.S. government, after placing the Navajo and the Hopi indians on what was considered worthless land, the government is forcing them off this land. Large deposits coal, oil and natural gas were discovered there. The United States government used every evil method at their disposal to try and slowly kill off the Navajo and Hopi. Those that "relocated" were impoverished, force to pay taxes, pay for water and pay for food. Without a job, or to old to work, they are stripped of their heritage and forced to assimilate or die. Those who refused to go were forced into poverty by the killing of their livelihood, livestock.
