PEARL HARBOR, Hi (June 22, 2010) The Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) guided missile destroyer ** Atago (DDG 177) arrives in Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam at the beginning of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010 exercise. RIMPAC is a biennial, multi-national exercise designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multinational interoperability.
