This style of jacket is quite popular these days in mountain towns because of its warmth and simplicity, not to mention style. Although its not as warm as the 4 inch thick puffy coats, it is much more practical for everyday use in the winter and for layering when skiing or boarding. The quilted pattern keeps the down insulation in place so it doesn't all settle at the bottom of the jacket. The Endless jacket might seem a little too simple at times, but its functionality is definitely not lacking.
