The Rayzar Windstopper is aptly named, as it is windproof. But you'd be foolish to confuse this jacket with a windbreaker. It is bulky enough to be your only layer on brisk days, and light enough to be as a layer on very cold days. The price suggests that this is a mid level soft shell, but really, it is an extremely nice jacket, complete with Gore-Tex Windstopper.
